Update

I cannot believe that I am down to my final three weeks of summer vacation!  Where did the time go?  Thank you to all the wonderful families that have scheduled with me this summer.  I am so lucky and blessed!

As I plan for returning to work and my kids’ school and activity schedules, I am also definitely thinking about my Fall photo session schedule.  I have already started booking into late September.  I do limit my sessions (although I am the WORST at saying “no”!) in order to keep my sanity.  But, I also know from the past few years, that the Fall is when many people start to think about Christmas cards and holiday pictures.  That is why I’ve decided to add “mini sessions” to my available options.  Pricing and details are included under the Investment tag on the blog.  But, the number of mini sessions per month are also limited!    I also like to plan ahead and know what to expect.  That’s why I’m offering at 20% discount on products/prints/CDs (excludes session fee) for anyone who contacts me by July 31 to set up a session this Fall!

I also have some really cute products to share and hope to get those images up here by tomorrow – so be sure to check back!

I am a total blogstalker!  I could spend hours visiting the many blogs of incredibly talented and creative women.  There are so many clever ideas out there!  Last week, I put a link to Catalog Living – very funny!  Here’s another fun link that I heard about today – clever, cute and adorable!: http://milasdaydreams.blogspot.com/

And a quick look at a session that has sneak peeks coming up soon!  I met Riley while photographing her friend, Haleigh (see below).  I had no idea that she was a member of the family that was scheduled the very next day!  It was terrific when she got out of the car and we’d already visited and taken a few pictures with Haleigh the day before!

So – call (or email) soon to book a Fall session and check back for sneak peeks and product updates!

Haleigh

I have also been photographing Haleigh for the past few years.  You can see her earlier sessions here and here.  Isn’t it amazing how much she has changed in 2 years?  She is AWESOME!!   Haleigh always has lots of ideas about her outfit, location and poses.  So fun!    I look forward to seeing her and hearing what she has in mind for her pictures!

Jacob, Anne and Ella

The very special and exciting part of being a photographer is that I have the honor and privilege of getting to see some of the same children and families each year.  It is so fun for me to see how they grow and change!  I first met these 3 beautiful, wonderful children in Fall 2008.  Ella and Anne were barely crawling!  Last summer I saw Ella and Anne again.  They are cousins and are less than two weeks apart in age – it is so fun to see how much they have grown and how they interact with each other.  And this year they were so much more talkative!  Big brother (and cousin), Jacob, was such a terrific helper.  These girls always have cutest coordinating outfits and the colors were  perfect for a beautiful summer morning.  Thank you, again, for contacting me and sharing your precious kids with me!

The Alderson Family

I grew up with the Alderson family and kids.  Their family means so much to me and my family.  It was pretty surreal editing these pictures and remembering when Heather, Tom and Jenny were all as little as their kids are now!  Where did the time go?  The love, support and help they all gave to my family while my brother was sick and after he passed away means more than any words can say.  That is true friendship and love.  We are very thankful.  It was a nice evening (despite those darn mosquitoes!) for this session and we somehow avoided the storm clouds and rain.  Thank you for asking me to take these pictures…..I hope you will treasure them always!
