Happy Day!

It’s always a GREAT day when you get to photograph your friend’s children!  Audrey makes me smile.  So does this picture!

Kadon and Chayson

I first photographed Kadon late last summer when he was just a little over a year old.  Now he is two AND a big brother!  I met Kadon, Chayson and his parents at their home and we enjoyed playing on the swingset, driving cars up and down the driveway and cooling off in the shade of the front yard.  Thank you for asking me to once again take pictures –  these boys are so adorable (seriously – look at those beautiful eyes!) and I had a lot of fun playing in your yard!

The Axvig Family

It was another beautiful morning for pictures when I met this family at Grandma’s house for pictures!  Grandma (aka Karen) is a co-worker of mine from Grand Forks Central.  It was really exciting for me to meet all of her family while they were in town for a visit.  The kids were able to run freely in the backyard and even play with some bubbles.  Thank you, Karen, for allowing me to spend time with your wonderful family!

Emma and Ellie

Emma and Ellie are twin sisters and were SOOOO adorable!  They were so well behaved and a lot of fun!  I really enjoyed walking around the park with them – we walked through the flowers, ate suckers, read books and played on the playground.  It was amazing to see how different their personalities were as well as how they interacted with each other.  Thanks for a great morning!

Oh – and in case you missed it – I posted a picture of Emma a couple of posts back!

Kaitlyn, Graduation and LOTS of family!!!!

ALERT!!!!  IMAGE OVERLOAD ABOUT TO OCCUR!!!  I just simply could not decide on pictures to post from this session.  But before I get to the images, I need to apologize to this family for the LONG wait in getting sneak peeks!  As I’ve already explained to them, I have been making some changes with computers and software and the learning curve really slowed me down this month!    So – I figure they deserve more than the typical number of sneak peeks, don’t you?  Plus I know that there are relatives all over the country that will be checking out these images!

Kaitlyn is a recent high school graduate and her family lives across the street from me.  I was just thrilled to be asked to take these pictures!  I had a terrific time with this entire family and was amazed at how photogenic they all were.  They were naturals at posing and had the best smiles (see – I told you I’d be sure to put that on the blog!)!  The kids had a blast playing and the adults were so patient with all the different things we tried.  I especially had fun because my husband, Brian, came with me to help.  He had no idea that I would throw a camera in his hand to help me capture some of the family interactions.

So – without any further waiting – here is a quick glimpse at the images from Kaitlyn’s graduation weekend with all of her family!  Congratulations!

And I’m adding this shot because for some reason it just makes me laugh – taking pictures of little boys so often results in images like this!
