What a crazy month it has been! I have a lot to share and hope to do so in the next few days….But for now I’m going to leave you with these two cuties.

Once again, these two were perfect little models! Even though it was rainy, we had a fun time! It’s hard to believe by looking at these that less than 24 hours later, Jack would be struck with a fever and bronchitis! What a trooper! I cannot believe how much these two have grown up since the first time I photographed them. They are terrific kids, with a terrific Mom, and I’m so fortunate to be able to take their pictures.

This has been a sad, sad week for my family and me. My brother died on Wednesday at Altru Hospital. We thank all of our family and friends who have supported us during these past couple of weeks. Jeff was a wonderful, loving son, brother and uncle. Our hearts ache with grief and sadness. Yet we celebrate his life and are blessed with so many wonderful memories of our time with him. He will be missed. We love him very much.

Jeffrey Pettit, 33, Fargo, ND and formerly of Grand Forks, ND, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in Grand Forks, ND.
Jeffrey Charles Pettit was born March 22, 1976 in Enid, Oklahoma to Donna and Ross Pettit. He lived in Nashville, Tennessee until moving to Grand Forks in 1979 where he grew up. He attended Ben Franklin, South Junior and Red River High Schools. While growing up he participated in the Park Board Hockey program and loved everything about hockey .He attended NDSU-Bottineau. One of the highlights of his life was playing hockey at Bottineau and being on the team that won the 1998 Junior College National Championship in Buffalo, NY. He was on the All Tournament team for that event.
He worked in Alaska and Fargo. While in Fargo, he coached for the Fargo South Flyers and enjoyed working with the kids. Jeff enjoyed being with his family and friends and going to the lake.
He is survived by his parents, Donna and Ross; his two older sisters, Debbi (Brian) Osowski and Kristi Pettit; nieces, Abby, Meg and Kate Osowski; grandmother, Judy Pettit; great-aunt Naomi (Karl) Schmitt; aunts Jill (Bob) Grzadzielewski; TerryJo (Jon) Wood; uncles Bill (Mary) Pettit and Rick (Sue) Taylor; step-uncles Darren (Jean) and Kelly Thompson; and many cousins.

The mom of these 3 beautiful children has definitely waited very patiently for these sneak peeks! These kids were a lot of fun…and so photogenic! And I just loved the colors of their outfits! These pictures were taken on one of the last nice days we’ve had this Fall. It’s amazing how quickly everything changed outside, isn’t it? Oh, how I miss my flip flops already! :) Enjoy your sneak peak!
