Josie

I wanted to be sure to get a few images up for Josie and her Mom before I head out of town for a work conference for a few days. Josie is the cousin of Madelyn and Katelyn (that I posted a few posts ago). She was so pretty in her pink dress! We got a few of her alone and a few of her with her Mom. It was a beautiful summer morning and the light in their home and yard was terrific!

I want to thank all the wonderful families that have called me to take pictures over the past couple of weeks. I have learned so much from my time with each one of you. I love photography, and it is such a gift to get to share it with others. I appreciate all of your enthusiasm and support as I begin this new adventure. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Avery and Sawyer

I had such a great time taking pictures of these two cuties! Their grandma’s back yard was a photographer’s dream! Lots of fun props and flowers. Too cute! And grandma was a terrific photographer’s assistant as well – she knew just how to get Sawyer to smile. Thanks so much for inviting me to this fun garden and letting me spend some time with you!

Will

Doing a “sneak peek” is really hard – I can’t narrow down the pictures to post! Will was so much fun to photograph! He has the bluest eyes. He definitely made me work to get him to smile – I need to learn to charm the boys a little better, I guess! :) We started out at his home and then went to his grandparents’ yard. They had a terrific barn and lots of beautiful scenery. Thanks for letting me spend the morning with you, Will!

Meg

I wanted to post a picture of Meg from this past weekend at the lake. I love the light at sunset. I love how it looks reflecting in the water and through the trees. So, I tried to capture that classic summer moment – sitting on the end of the dock as the sun sets.
